Today's blog will probably be my shortest ever (alright...quit cheering...hahaha). I woke this morning to a beautiful sight...I have a bloom on a plant that should have died the beginning of summer. Take a look:

This is a seasonal plant that typically does not survive the summer so we normally would dig it out and replant a different seasonal. This year, I kept this particular one planted because of the excess green on it so late in the season. All summer long this darling plant would repeatedly dry up and then sprout another green leaf....until this morning when I found a beautiful flower that has begun to bloom.
So, I am going to keep this plant in my backyard for another season and hope that it will stay for many summers.

I absolutely love these types of gifts! The sweet thing about this one is that I amlost dug it out...literally. Something in my head said to keep it there.

Oh, Josh, you are ever so sweet. As for Pete, you know darn well he would taste delish with cheesy bacon...and maybe a few dashes of Tobasco! LOL!!

Ang...I cannot tell you how many times I will click "Publish your comment" and it does not appear. Several times I thought it was me not clicking the darn button! Um, well, maybe I might have forgot to click it once or twice...............but now I know I'm not alone! HAHAHAHA!! And cheering the flower on is not dorky in the least (you didn't see me outside when I found it!)

Hey FYI gals (and son) (oh that's too cute!)... I've taken up copying my comments just before I publish them so I don't have to rewrite the comment over again when that 'darn' (clean version for son) button doesn't work.

Mmmm... Eggs. *drool drool* Huh! Oh right! Anyway, I'm lucky because that "darn (clean version for me) button" thing hasn't happened to me yet. Hallelujah! Thanks for calling me sweet. *blushes* err well... *'man' blushes*

Isn't that a happy surprise? What a cute little plant..anything I plant doesn't make it..not good in the flower business, that is why my pictures are all the wild stuff growing around the yard..some may call them weeds..but I am thrilled, the only way I get a flower..
