How Do You Spell Relaxation? BEACH!

Hello everyone! Originally you were to have been able to read this if you stopped by my blog earlier today. Unfortunately, someone did not click 'PUBLISH POST' and just logged off!! I cannot believe this person!!! Who does she think she is (um, ME!) So, if you tried to view my newest blog earlier today, I am sorry. I guess I had RELAXATION on my mind!

Which brings me to what I wanted to blog about :-) What better way to relax than sitting on the beach with a cold beverage in hand (Smart Water) soaking up the sun (a sun that won't burn the skin off my body!!)? There IS nothing better, at least for me there isn't. So...I drove to San Diego today with my sunroof open and music pumping. I knew I was close when I could smell the salt water in the air (plus I used to live here so I knew where I was at :-} ).

(please picture a scene of Torrey Pines Beach here...darn connection issue will not allow me to add my picture!)

My plans are simple- spend my early mornings (not a late sleeper) working on a VERY special custom order, my afternoons at the beach, and my evenings with my husband and some of our wonderful friends laughing it up over suhi and sake. The only thing more I could possibly ask for would to have all of you here with us!

Oh, and just because I am away on a short vaca, don't think that I won't be able to chit chat...no way, no how! My laptop will be soaking up the rays along with a couple of stamps (yes, Sharon, I brought the sun screen so the moon does not burn!! HAHA!!!). So don't be shy, I'm still "here" in internet land. Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Laura
ps- On behalf of my awesome sister Rocki, she apologizes for not being able to blog and email much today for she is experiencing some ugly Internet issues. I, unfortunately, am experiencing webmail issues. So if we are not responding right away, you can thank Cox Communications :-)

Alright!! So I KNOW I made a comment, Angie, but I cannot guarantee I published it!!! UUUGGGHHH! What is wrong with me?? My brain must be in RELAX mode ;-)

Basically it was just a comment about me being on vaca and working...I think? HAH!! I'm losing my freakin' mind!!!!

Well, San Diego is beautiful and the weather is perfect. Whenever you find yourself heading towards San Diego let me know...I will be there in an instant!

Oh lucky you spending your afternoons at the beach! Have a paddle for me! Actually, I live close to the beach but so rarely go. I better change that routine for this coming Summer I think. It's just the sand that bugs me. Not a big fan of sand. But then a beach would be kind of weird without it I guess & I can't think of a better alternative

I was having internet/email issues yesterday too. Must be a worldwide glitch or something maybe...

Hi Ms. Sharon! The sun block has been applied and the kids (stamps) are anxiously awaiting to go. I did warn them that if I they do not behave on the way to the beach that I will turn the car around ;-) LOL!!!

You can cap WONDERFUL all you want. I LOVE the word wonderful and I love CAPS! HAH!! OH, and I love the darn exclamation point!!!! It is a break from "professional" writing, wouldn't you say?

OK, kids, I must take care of some more cards before taking the other kids to the beach. You all behave and don't make me leave here to go to GA and PA! HHmm..wait a minute. Misbehave!! I'll see you soon :-) heehee.

You know I wanted to go with you, but I have too much work right now (I'm not complaining though!) so next time I'll have to plan ahead.

Have fun - I know you are! Oh and thanks for mentioning about my internet - I'm now playing catch up!

Thanks Rosebud! And OH MY GOSH!! FROST???? Wow. Makes me start to appreciate the Arizona heat a little more ;-)

Harriet- the sand can be a bit annoying at times...and the stingrays, too. I ALWAYS shuffle my feet when walking in the water!

Debi- plan on going to Mexico with us in August. I'll book your cabin on the cruise ship and I will choke up the courage to fly. Deal?

Ooooh! I just changed my name to Debi! Really!!! Ok so when do we leave in August?? I'll go pencil the date in now (I mean Sharpy it in)!

No problem Sharon, you can take my place, I'll let you. (I have to see land if I go on a boat!)

Oh well now that's no fun if you don't go Rocki! I'll just create a land banner for you and glue to the inside of your glasses!

OH MY GOSH SHARON!!!! AND DEBI!!! I'm starting to wonder if we are related in some way....not too long ago (at Jeremy's b-day party) I made a VERY similar comment about putting blinders on her glasses that looked like land! Whoa!!

Wow that is weird Laura! Maybe it's just because we're all born in Cali - that same quirky look on life?
