GETTIN’ READY FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

The Fall & Winter holidays are just around the corner…where did time go? It seems as if we just celebrated New Years 08’. Well, since I can’t fight time, I might as well accept it ;-)

I have been working on some holiday cards and tags and thought I would share them with my friends...some feedback wouldn’t hurt :-) If we were all the same then it would be easy to make what everyone wants, but we’re not. For instance, I like more of the non-traditional Christmas/Holiday cards; the Poinsettia is pretty but it needs a break! Thanksgiving- do you send greeting cards to friends and family? How about holiday dinner/party invites? I would love to hear your thoughts!

As you can see by my collection, I do not offer much in the means of Halloween. Though I enjoy the holiday, not many people hand out greeting cards, but I do make candy bag tags...these were quite popular the past couple of years.

So, don’t be shy! Let me know what you think!
Hugs,
Laura

You know me, LOVE cards - especially your handmade ones (you need to add some funny ones to your shop - well, not THOSE funny ones ;)

Dentist Dream Day:
Never sent Halloween cards, but candy bags would be totally cool!

Turkey Day:
I don't send turkey cards, but invites & dinner tags yes.

Ho Ho Ho Watch My Cash Go Day:
You know I'm different and I like a variety of cards to choose from, different than the usual. Maybe a southwestern xmas card?

So there is my 2 cents worth :)

Well, I don't do dinner parties..Oh, I am such a bore..Family is here for holidays and anyone else the kids want to invite..Always willing to share..If you are around, you are welcome to join in too..Your cards are very cute and what a great idea..

I'm with your super sis. I'm a fan of cards, but I admit I'm a bit picky about my christmas cards. Or at least I have been in the past. Yours are beautiful! And I don't send out Turkey day cards. I get ONE from my mother in law, and thats IT. I figure its just not worth it. :/
K, I'm off to check out your shop. I see something I want. HA!!
P.S.
I agree with Rocki, a southwestern christmas card would be awesome! Although...I'm no in the southwest...DANG.

Well I think EVERYTHING you make is gorgeous!! We only send out Christmas cards as we're quite boring people. :)

My taste tends to change from year to year but I'd say I like an elegant yet simplistic looking card with a simple generic message... peace on earth, that type of thing.

I do use tags for my gifts and absolutely hate the generic tags. I give out loaves of freshly made banana nut bread on Christmas Eve to family and in past years have simply cut out brown paper in the shape of leaves and hand written a message. Then strung them on with raffia and an accompanying hand beaded sun catcher/ornament.

I think I'll have to try a set of your tags and cards this year though as I'm sure they'd be a huge success!

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Australia so I don't really have an opinion on that one, but for Xmas cards I prefer the more non-traditional ones :)

Invites are a good idea I think!
