A Day At The Beach

The beach was fabulous, the weather was perfect, and my companions were well behaved! In fact, they were so well behaved that I was able to take their picture together without any fighting!
By now I am sure I have many heads tilted with a facial expression of, "What in God's earth is she talking about...". Well, I'm talking about these two stamps! I am making cards for my sweet friend, Sharon, and told her I was going to work on some of them while at the beach. She was so excited that I was taking them and even reminded me to put sunblock on them. I even brought a bottle of cold water for them so they wouldn't get parched!
There was not a lot of people at the beach today but we did watch a couple of surfers try and catch some waves. We also had a couple of visitors come by and stair aimlessly for no reason (seagulls).
Sharon, the "kids" had a great time and we wish you could have been there :-) Maybe next time (I will bring a bigger bottle of water for you)! LOL!!!
Enjoy!
Laura

Aaaahh, my little ones!! They look so cute on the beach! :) And you're such a good Aunt for getting them water and making sure they don't get burned!! ("now remember your 'pleases and thank you's' little ones - being polite to auntie Laura is very important")

Poor Rosebud :-( I will capture warm rays of sunshine and wish them to you :-)

Aaaah! Auntie Laura? I'm honored! LOL!! There were not many people at the beach yesterday but there was an elderly couple close by who just looked at me like I was crazy!! I guess when you take a couple of stamps out of your beach bag along with a bottle of water and a towel THEN take pictures of them....yah, I can see why they looked at me like that! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Too funny Laura! (closing eyes and picturing me at the beach babysitting Sharon's 'kids')

Awwwwwwe. I'm so relaxed now. Off to work for me while my baby sister relaxes on the beach.

Hah! That had to be a great scene but I'll bet you gave that old couple a good laugh!!

Yes, do think of us freezing our little butts off in the east while you soak up those rays! ;-)

Aw Laura..you're such a good Auntie! I'm so jealous of where you're at! Here I am in the Southeast and its a little chilly here as well. Probably not quite as chilly as Sharon, but cool enough for me to have on a sweater.

I honestly can't wait for the cold temps. But you. YOU. In the sun, relaxin, chillin --- LUCKY!

Hugs right back at ya!!

I'm back!! And I just posted my blog. Whew! I actually got back into the city around 10:30 but Grandma called upset...they couldn't install the new carpet because they found she has termites :-( I stopped by to check it out and make sure a termite company would be out today. Whoa...weclome back, huh? LOL!!

Hey welcome back sweet friend! Gee, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother's, I hope they're able to install the carpeting.

Anyways, welcome back and hope the drive was... well, less adventurous. :)
